my 10 foods to take to sea

  1. Kia ora Tyler, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
Well done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this blog post about 10 food items you would take with you if you were going on a sea voyage with no refrigerator or freezer!
I think it is awesome how you have thought about what items are non-perishable and will therefore take a while before they expire.
Honey, white rice, dried beans, pemmican and powdered milk would all be excellent choices in this situation!
I had never heard of pemmican before, so I looked it up and read all about it. Apparently it is a nutritionally dense mixture of fats and protein. Is this correct?
Is pemmican a food you eat regularly? If so, how do you make it?
If I were going on this sea voyage, I would pack peanut butter also. I eat peanut butter every morning, and don’t think I could go a day without it! Plus, peanut butter is full of good, healthy fats, has tons of protein, and lasts a while before expiring.
Ka pai on doing an excellent job with creating this list!
    Nga mihi

I am not sure about the pemmican but I think so
No pemmican is not a food I eat regularly
I also eat peanut butter a lot. I thought it expired averagely thanks for the fact.
      Thanks for the comment
